Here’s a deeper look into my background in financial services, passion in FinTech for financial wellness, and industry projects.
UNDERGRAD: At the University of San Francisco, I studied Finance as my undergraduate degree. Some key courses in the program were Financial Statement Analysis, Corporate Finance, and Real Estate Finance.
FINANCE: Upon graduation, I worked full-time as a Commercial Real Estate Associate at Western Peaks Financial Corp. for 3 years. I focused on reviewing multiple loan requests, drafting Letters of Intent, gathering and reviewing underwriting requirements, and presenting loan application packages for review.
MBA: I went back to USF for graduate studies in the Masters of Business Administration program, with a focus in Entrepreneurship and Management. Some key courses in the program were Advanced Leadership Seminar, Bargaining and Negotiation, and Venture Capital & Investment Banking.
FINANCIAL SERVICES - Banker: In the first semester of the MBA program at USF, I started my career in financial services as a Small Business Banker at Bank of America. I worked with an existing book of business clients towards deepening their banking relationship with new products and services. Additionally, I focused on acquiring new relationships through business development activities and outbound calling efforts. Lastly, I was an educational resource for the local community of small businesses learning about establishing credit, budgeting, and managing cash flow.
